As a stay-at-home mom of three young kids, Melissa spends most of her time driving in circles, filling snack traps, and wiping butts. When the kids aren’t sick or screaming or climbing on her, Melissa works for the The Intuitive Writing Project as the Middle School Program Director. Previously she taught high school Journalism and World History for 10 years, bringing a student newspaper to national prestige. Earlier in her career, she worked as a journalist at the Sunday Times in London, an international trip leader for high school students, a rock climbing instructor, and a yoga teacher.
